There are over 250 million active cell phones in the U.S. alone and we all know how fast technology changes, right?

That adds up to a lot of cell phone "turnover".   Many used cell phones off to the dump, many of them into your drawer only to be pulled out and thrown away a couple years from now.

The reality is that if your cell phone still works... then someone else is probably willing to pay you for it. Your phone was probably free or quite cheap when you got it for signing up for a new cell phone plan. But if you lost it, you'd be amazed at what a replacement phone would cost and that's where much of the used phone demand comes from.

So how do you sell it?   The best way is probably to simply list your phone on ebay, wait 7 days, get paid, and then mail it out.   You'll get the most money using this option.   But that is a hassle for a lot of people and online cell phone buyers know that.

This is where online cell phone buyers come into the picture.  What do they do with your used cell phone?  It's as simple as buy low, sell high!  They pay you as little as possible (which is still more than nothing) and then turn around and sell it on ebay or the like for twice as much.   This is generally a simple process but as we said above, YOU are paying a premium for this service and THEY are making a ton of money off your phone.
